Our facilities
We are located in the north east of Dumfries and Galloway, in the tranquil and beautiful Esk Valley.
Alongside our warm and welcoming cafe and bar, we have a wheelchair friendly playground, lovely little village shop, and a spacious art exhibition hall.
We host a number of different community events which you are welcome to join.
Additionally, we have a number of rooms to hire, including our exhibition hall.
We are a dog friendly establishment, so please feel free to bring your dog(s) with you! We have water ‘on-tap’ in our children’s outdoor play area for filling dog bowls (or water bottles for yourself).
There are designated parking spaces outside, for both cars and motorbikes, as well as a secure bike rack for bicycles.
Our Organisation
The Upper Eskdale Development Group (UEDG) is a company and a charity, set up for the benefit of the residents of our small community who live within the beautiful parish of Eskdalemuir. The aim of the UEDG is to deliver benefit to the existing community, as well as promoting its development and regeneration.
